“ Everything there is amazing! I highly recommend their Shrimp Fajitas!!! I prefer whole beans and they rock! ”
“ Every bite was delicious! Cute family ran restaurant. A true local gem with lots of regulars. Felt super welcomed and great customer service. We will be back! ”
“ Good food! Good service! Ambiance was nice. Didn't have to shout to be heard across the table. ”
“ OMGoodness, we just had super early dinner at our new favorite Mexican restaurant...La Rosa Blanca on Natoma St near Old Folsom. Super yummy! Authentic Mexican. Family owned. Great ambiance & loved the background music. Lilianna (the owner), we'll be back! ”
“ Small place with minimal decor that had decent food and attentive waiters. All of us enjoyed what we ordered. The chips and salsa and the beans left more to be desired in my opinion. The carne asada and the shredded beef quesadilla were both good. Forgot to take pictures of the food but here are the updated menu pics (as of June 2024) ”
“ Best comfort food in a friendly atmosphere! Love this place, still one of my favorites. ”
“ Lots of parking around the building. There's indoor seating as well as a covered patio with heating when the weather calls for it. We were able to seat ourselves in a booth right away in a Sunday afternoon. Horchata - 7 - A bit sweet and less cinnamon than we like but it's definitely in there. Very drinkable Chips and Salsa - 6 - Can't beat free but the salsa just wasn't very good. The chips were decent but undersalted. Flautas with chicken and shredded beef - 10 - Best item they sell. Light crunch with perfectly cooked chicken and shredded beef. Enmoladas - 10 - The mole was AMAZING. Rich in flavor but not too sweet. Perfect compliment to the chicken enchiladas. Chile verde - 9 - Excellent flavor and high quality meat but could use a touch more spice. New Mexico enchiladas -8 - Excellent enchilada sauce but I felt the egg just overwhelmed the dish. This makes me want to try enchiladas here. Pollo Asado - 6 - The chicken didn't offer much flavor. I would t order this again. It was a healthy plate though! Flan - 8 - I thought the flan was a little thin but the caramel sauce was perfectly executed. I like my flan a but more eggy/custardy. This was an excellent place to get sundown Mexican food. I've forgotten how good the food is here and vow to back to better navigate the menu. The lunch specials look attractive so I'll give that a shot next! ”
“ Tried this on a whim and was so impressed with the quality and the location. The server was busy taking care of the entire front room but she was very nice and she did a great job. The place was super clean and the lunch menu was pretty perfect for choices size and taste. I will say meat eaters will love this place but I was able to find a nice vegetarian option. Great experience and a restaurant I think u should try. Much better than My last try this week at a new location EDH where we couldn't even eat the hot spicy food, and a small cocktail was $22.00 ”
“ Delicious taqueria lunch with excellent warm service. Prices are reasonable too. It has a thoughtful homemade style and approach to the food which make it very different from the fat and fast approach from other restaurants. If you are looking for something a little bit different for either lunch or dinner, I would recommend the chile relleno burrito. It's really so delicious and recommend anyone try it. ”
“ I have been a long time customer, going back over 20 years. The food is basic, simple, and tasty. The servers over the years have changed, they are all fantastic. The place is a bit dated but clean. Humble digs. Occasionally they have coupons for dine in offer of one free dinner if you order two dinners and two drinks. Well I used that coupon recently. Both dinners were $9.75. However we were only discounted $8. Hmm. Odd. Anyway the food is basic and tasty. Consistent. My faves are the crispy beef taco and refried beans. The shell is fried nicely, no oily mess. They offer complimentary chips and red salsa. The chips are fresh and crispy. The salsa is flavorful. ”
